The Kitchener Waterloo Housing Index rose 6 points this month, starting November at .40. Sales of residential homes rose 1.7% over October 2005, and the dollar volume of transactions this month was up 5.9%, to $112,474,829.
The average price of residential real estate rose to 233,980, which represents a 7.7% increase in prices so far this year. While some markets are softening throughout Ontario, our local market is looking very healthy.
For those with an eye for investing, there are 75 condominiums available on the market (and six under $100,000) in Kitchener Waterloo, all of which can be rented out for more than your mortgage payments… If you aren’t sure if you can buy a condominium as an investment property, talk to us or come out to our next Investment Seminar!
On the topic of investing in Real Estate, I held one of my celebrated Invest & Grow Rich: The Millionaire Real Estate Investor workshops Thursday night. This is a fantastic program where we work through proven models for building wealth through smart real estate investing. These models are based on interviews that Gary Keller and his team did with 120 Millionaire Real Estate Investors for his book. For anyone who has ever wondered if they could become a Real Estate Investor, this program is a remarkeable resource. Not only do you get an overview of the concepts, models and systems you can use and implement, but you’ll meet people who can form your work and leads network, as well as other investors who are always eager to share their knowledge so you can learn from their experience. We hold these workshops monthly; please contact us for more information!
