The Canadian Real Estate Association reported today that a seasonally adjusted 27,630 homes were sold via the Multiple Listing Service in the nation’s major markets in November 2006, down 5.6 percent compared to November 2005 and up 1.5 percent since October 2006.

Local Real Estate Market Enters November Showing Renewed Strength

The Kitchener Waterloo Housing Index rose 6 points this month, starting November at .40. Sales of residential homes rose 1.7% over October 2005, and the dollar volume of transactions this month was up 5.9%, to $112,474,829.
